In underground sites with steep inclines, long haulages and a large number of workers, man riding has become a highly important necessity, largely due to improved safety regulations, ergonomic comfort and cost-savings.
Chairlifts systems are ideal whenever personnel have to be hauled efficiently, rapidly and safely in inclines and declines.
Two standards are available:
• Friction rope grips suitable for gradients less than 13 degrees.
• Fixed rope grips suitable for gradients more than 13 degrees.
